Delyth's Wing Walk

Wing Walking for Hospice Hope

A wing walking experience definitely counts as one of life's greatest aerial challenges and with this in mind, our adventurous volunteer Delyth Perry has decided to undertake a 150 mph wing walk in support of Hospice Hope.

Here's how she describes her challenge:

"Imagine my face when my husband presented me with my birthday present of a spine tingling wing walk!!

So please think of me at 10:45 on Wednesday 9th August at RFC  Rendcomb Airfield, Cirencester taking part as a private team member of AeroSuperBatics, enjoying an adrenaline rush of a lifetime!

As I stand on the wings of the aircraft flying at one hundred and thirty five miles per hour cruising across the skies being completely exposed to the elements as the pilot steers me through twists and turns and climbs to the clouds before entering a 500 feet vertical dive!!! (I’m starting to have second thoughts) not at all, I feel privileged to be able to take part in this jaw dropping aerial experience I will never forget".

So she’ll have some excellent views of this beautiful part of the country, probably upside down at the time!

A regular volunteer at our Ashby Support Café, Delyth has set up an online sponsorship page at Just search for ‘Delyth Perry’ in the ‘make a donation’ section.

As at 14th July, Delyth has already raised a magnificent £295.00!
