Team from IT Services, Loughborough University volunteer at Hope House

Thursday 23rd February 2017

As storm Doris did its best to disrupt the whole area, the team from Corporate Systems, IT Services of Loughborough University were totally undeterred.  It had been over 6 months since the team offered to help with the necessary indoor and outdoor work at Hope House in Griffydam.

By the time the building and electrical work was finished and all of the insurance challenges had been resolved, August had become the following January.  However, we were delighted that the team still felt able to come and help and what a help it was!

Four people helped with the decorating and made a huge impression on the Sensory Room, the Dining Room and doorways.  Six people braved storm Doris and cleared a long granite wall that was very dirty and covered in ivy.

It was a pleasure to work with them and we are most grateful for the time the team spent with us and for effort that they expended.
