Lights of Love 2018

Lights of Love 2018 - Sunday 2nd December

The weather was kind, the music and singing were great and the speakers were good, to the point and to time.

The hanging of the tags is the central part of Lights of Love and the most moving.  It is a very lovely way to remember those who have gone before us.

Reverend Tim Phillips led the whole service with his usual sensitivity and excellent messages.

Hospice Hope are so grateful to Mr & Mrs John Blunt for their permission to hold the event and for the Ferrers’ team for their help.  Our thanks go to Andrew Bridgen MP, John Clarke (Chairman of North West Leicestershire District Council) and Roger Bayliss (Mayor of Ashby) for taking part in the service. Concordia and the Oddfellows Band did us proud as always and our thanks go to them too.
