New foot health care service at Hope House

We are thrilled to announce a new service for our guests at Hope House, Griffydam.  Local foot health practitioner, Jane Prytherch, is now be providing treatments to our Monday guests every seven weeks.

Stressing the importance of foot health, Jane commented:

“Three out of four people will develop foot health problems with age so it is vitally important that you take care of your feet.  Feet are often neglected, which can cause unnecessary long-term problems.

For people with additional health problems keeping feet comfortable and as healthy as possible can provide some relief in difficult life circumstances. I provide foot treatments for the guests visiting Hope House Hospice which includes a nail trim and file, removal of corns and callus, advise on foot care, bearing in mind any additional health problems that the guest might have, and concluding with a mini foot cream and massage.

Hope House has kindly been donated a foot spa which I offer to anyone who can and would like to use it. Most guests have thoroughly enjoyed this addition to the foot treatments.”

Our foot health treatments are in addition to our established complementary therapy service, which is provided by our therapist Glen, every Monday and Thursday at Hope House.
