£2,500 donation

Following a successful bid to the St James’s Place Charitable Foundation, on Monday 1st July, Hospice Hope was delighted to be presented with a cheque for £2,500 by Evan Roberts, Financial Adviser at BPC Wealth Management, which is a Partner Practice of St James’s Place Wealth Management.

Evan is pictured in the centre, with guests, volunteers and staff at Hospice Hope’s day centre, Hope House in Griffydam.

The money will be used to support the launch of the charity’s latest weekly Support Café in Castle Donington, which is the fourth of its kind that Hospice Hope runs in North West Leicestershire.

Evan Roberts said “It is with great pleasure that I was able to visit the day centre to present the cheque from the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation, which supports a number of good causes including the Hospice movement. I was able to see at first-hand how Hospice Hope supports its guests and their carers, helping to improve their day to day well-being. I’m so pleased we are able to help Hospice Hope to extend their services in North West Leicestershire with their new Support Café in Castle Donington.”

Charity Chairman Stewart Shepherd said that “Hospice Hope provides non clinical, therapeutic and social day care for people in North West Leicestershire living with a life limiting condition and their carers and that we are delighted to receive this support from St James’s Place Charitable Foundation to help launch our latest venture”.
