Hospice Hope on BBC East Midlands Today
We are delighted to say that on Tuesday 2nd March 2021, Hospice Hope was featured on last night’s BBC1 East Midlands Today programme in their regular ‘Make a Difference’ slot. Most nights, the programme features various organisations, charities and individuals who are making a difference to the lives of people in the East Midlands during the long pandemic. Liz Waters, our Lead in Community Engagement was invited to talk about our very successful ‘Night at the Movies’ project, where we have been providing people with a bag of goodies and DVD to enjoy at home. Two of our guests from Hope House and the Ibstock Support Café, Harry and Fliss, were also interviewed – it was heart warming to hear live on TV how much they appreciate our support and thoughtfulness. If you missed the programme, you can watch it via You Tube If you are asked to sign into YouTube, just click on 'No Thanks' More details about our ‘Night at the Movies’ project can be found at:Night at the Movies We do hope you enjoy watching it! |
