Loughborough Uni

Thursday 16th September

A working party from Loughborough University's IT department have spent a team building day at Hope House, Griffydam as it reopens for services.

Led by Richard Bebbington, a group of 6 university employees tackled the job of removing all of the ivy growth along the wall on the drive which had become overgrown since the first lockdown in March 2020.

It was a beautiful day for this outside task, which took all day to complete, save for a take away pizza lunch from a local restaurant.

It was great to welcome Richard and his team back to Hope House as they have helped us before with decorating and garden work.

Hope House has now reopened its doors for complementary therapy sessions, with face to face counselling services starting in October.
