Pop Up Cafe in Heather

Our Pop-Up style Café at Heather Village Hall on Wednesday 31st July was a resounding success!

Despite the rain, which left some of the scarecrows a bit soggy round the edges, people popped in throughout the day to enjoy the wonderful array of cakes and sandwiches – all of which were washed down with numerous cups of tea and coffee.

Our raffle and crafts tables were very popular.  The Hope House craft team did a brisk trade on their table and tickets for the beautiful selection of raffle prizes sold very well, with the lucky winners being announced at the end of the day.

We were delighted to welcome Andrew Bridgen MP for an hour and Liz, our Community Engagement Worker, had her own area in the Hall and spoke to many people about the services we offer to people with life limiting conditions in the district.

All in all, a super day - thank you to all who attended, donated, contributed and helped. A wonderful £443.68 was raised.
