Counselling Service

Hospice Hope Counselling Service – We can help!

COVID-19 coming out of lockdown

We are continuing to offer our counselling service as we come out of lockdown. We will start offering face to face counselling soon and will continue to offer counselling by phone or video link.

At Hospice Hope we know that being diagnosed with a life limiting condition can be a huge shock and change your life dramatically. We are here to help you and can provide free, confidential counselling for you and your loved ones at any stage of your journey. Feelings of anxiety and isolation could be increased during this period and our bespoke counselling service could be just what you need.

Sometimes it can be hard to talk to family and friends and at Hospice Hope we can provide you with a qualified professional, Jacqui who will:

  • provide you with a safe space to talk about your feelings
  • be non-judgemental (no matter what you say)
  • help you make sense of things and understand yourself better
  • help you resolve complicated feelings, or find ways to live with them
  • help you recognise unhelpful patterns in the way you think or act, and find ways to change them (if you want to)

If you feel that you are not ready for formal counselling or if you are placed on our waiting list you can still access support. We also offer a befriending service either by telephone or face to face (via FaceTime/Skype/Zoom).
